Our  Safe Rider Academy is based on Motorcycle Roadcraft - The Police Riders Handbook and is aimed at creating Smart Riders.

Some training groups are charities, and all their trainers are volunteers. They do a decent job however they are not professionals, you are reliant on their availability and the management style of their group.  They may only be available one day a month or you may have to take part in group rides not knowing who your trainer will be!

What do we do differently?

• Our training is provided 1-2-1. Your training plan is discussed and agreed with you.
• We will provide you with a copy of Motorcycle Roadcraft for your use during the course. (A returnable deposit of £15 required)
• Online theory sessions tailored to you needs as required.
• Online Motorcycle Roadcraft quizzes to support your learning and check your knowledge and understanding.
• There is an off-road slow riding session (extra module) that will improve your ability to turn your bike around, park in confined spaces, filter safely, stop and move safely from junctions, how to manage hazards in complex environments.
• We use Bluetooth Headsets for directions and coaching and do not rely on indicators to guide you.
• We are working for you, and you do not have pay a fee to be a member of a charity or a group annually to train with us.
• There are no hidden fees - (paying for your observer or tutors fuel)
• There is NO test however you will be trained over and above the standard needed.
