Mark is an IAM RoadSmart Examiner, National Observer Assessor & Masters Mentor.
IAM Masters riding qualification with distinction, first passed in 2017 and requalified with the same grade in October 2022.
Mark was previously a Joint Chief Observer for Herts & Beds Advanced Motorcyclists (HBAM) with the specific role as Training Manager.
This involved training new observers, maintaining the quality of training delivered to associates, overseeing specialist courses, developed an advanced scene management course and a slow riding instructors' course with Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Mark holds a RoSPA Level 3 award in Advanced Motorcycle Instructor Training and a RoSPA Gold riding qualification.
Mark works as a contractor for C&A Motorcycle Training as a DVSA Certified CBT, DAS and ERS Instructor.
Mark is a qualified Mental Health First Aider for Mental Health Motorbike. (See our section on mental health and riding)
Stephanie has worked for MCMotorcycling since August 2023.
Motorcycling has become Stephanie's passion since returning to biking in 2008. Since then she has toured extensively both in the UK and Europe.
Stephanie and Mark were previously the Joint Chief Observers with Herts & Beds Advanced Motorcyclists (HBAM).
Stephanie holds an IAM Masters Distinction and is an IAM Masters Mentor and National Observer.
Stephanie holds a RoSPA (Gold) riding qualification and holds a RoSPA Diploma in Advanced Motorcycle Training.
Tim has worked for MCMotorcycling since December 2022.
Tim has a wide range of riding knowledge from off roading in Cambodia, Morocco, Thailand and Bali.

Tim has toured across Europe including Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Türkiye and Greece.
Tim is currently undergoing our induction programme to deliver all of our advanced courses
PUBLIC LIABILITY POLICY -
This policy provides protection for DIA members against claims by third parties for legal liabilities following bodily injury or damage to property while they are carrying out their instructional activities, subject to policy terms and conditions and including a policy excess of £500. This can be in the classroom or vehicle, or on private property, if you are deemed to be responsible. The sum insured is up to £20,000,000 (twenty million pounds, each and every claim.
PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY POLICY
This policy provides protection in the event of a claim being brought against a DIA member for errors or omissions with respect to professional advice, subject to policy terms and conditions including policy excess of £1000. This can be for tuition either in the classroom or whilst on the road training. The sum insured is up to £5,000,000 (any one claim and in the aggregate including defence costs) Geographical limits are the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands
